first bath

Daddy & Mommy always give baby's first bath together.  This is their last "first bath" to give...&, at 6 days old, Emmersyn was ready to go!

Today is Mother's Day...& now there are 4 reasons Mommy gets to be celebrated.  We got home from the mountains before lunch, and we were so excited to see Daddy, Mommy, & Emmersyn.  we enjoyed the day at home, & then we headed to Oma's for some dinner & swimming.  It was a good day!

first day at home...

After a lunch stop at Oma's, Daddy, Mommy, & Emmersyn were at home.  Since we were still in the mountains (Thanks, Poppy & Nana!), it was a quiet day settling in at home.

day 4 ~ going home

Today, Daddy, Mommy, & Emmersyn get to go home from the hospital.  

(We...Averie, Brady, & Brecken...got to go to the mountains with Poppy & Nana for 2 nights so that Daddy, Mommy, & Emmersyn could adjust at home for the first night.)

Daddy & Mommy are just waiting for the doctor to give Mommy & Emmersyn the "go" to head out the door...so, Emmersyn just took another quick nap!

She is just beautiful!

Yay...they both got the "go ahead," so Daddy & Mommy buckled Emmersyn in her car seat...

...& took one last hospital pic...

...& after some "thank you's" to the nurses and staff, they were out the door...ready to bring Emmersyn home!
