mother's day

One of life's greatest gifts is the gift of being a Mommy. (At least, that is what our Mommy says...most of the time! ;)) So, on this Mother's Day, Daddy helped us celebrate Mommy and the gift she is to our family. After church together, we headed to Mommy's favorite, Melting Pot, for lunch. After lunch, we treated Mommy to a few gifts and then we went to visit Oma at her house. It was a fun day celebrating Mommy. We are so happy God chose her as our Mommy.

To celebrate my birthday with my friends, I chose to go to Chic-Fil-A, eat lunch, play in the play area, and celebrate with more donuts. Such a fun time with some of my preschool friends!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our Emmersyn Faith. What a gift you are to our family. We love you and your love for laughing, Minnie Mouse, & Starburst. You are such a sweetie, and you love to give hugs and make people smile. You love to play with your dolls and with your siblings. You love reading books, being around Mommy, & wrestling Daddy, We were all excited to celebrate her birthday, and we had a fun day together.

I got to open a few gifts before starting our day, and I loved getting a tablet to play games on...& "read" books!

My siblings were also quite fascinated.

Now, I am all ready in my birthday outfit (that I picked out myself...well, with Mommy's help) and ready to celebrate me today! :)

Uncle Blair & Aunt Blip were in Disneyworld for my birthday, but they gave me this super fun cash register. I LOVE talking into the microphone. So fun!

Then, it was too Big Fire for my birthday dinner. I chose donuts for my "birthday cake," and we celebrated there.

My Birthday table the next day...filled with all my birthday goodies. Such a fun day turning 3!!

One of our favorite traditions is our spring baskets. Daddy & Mommy hide them in the house, and we play the "Hot/Cold" game and try to find them. Our age determines the level of difficulty, and we aren't allowed to tell if we find someone else's basket. And, being in a new house, this made the hunt even more exciting. So, after a quick picture together, we were off to hunt for our own baskets.
