moments

These are some more moments from our fall...having fun & being a family!

We attended a Compassion International walk through tour called the Compassion Experience.  The walking "tour" took us through a typical life of a young boy & a young girl and the lifestyle they live in.  It was very eye opening for us.  It also showed how those things can change through the sponsorship program with Compassion International.  This really pressed on our hearts, so we decided (after talking to Daddy & Mommy how we would help by paying for 1/2 by earning money via chores and such...) we really wanted to sponsor a child.  So, we are now sponsoring one girl (for Emmersyn & me) named Shirley...and a little boy (for Brady & Brecken) names Hunmoni.  We have enjoyed coloring them a picture already...and we are getting ready to send them a letter as well telling them all about us.  We are excited to try and hep someone else...knowing that we are blessed here in America!  What a great experience for us.

 Brady came downstairs one evening dressed in his jammies.  He then took his shirt off, showed Mommy these muscles, and said, "Don't worry, Mommy, I'll protect us tonight while Daddy is gone." Mommy loved it!!

Brady with his class dolphin.  He wrote all about his fun weekend with the class dolphin.  They had fun together!

 Oma gave her Cinderella tickets to Mommy, me, Aunt Helen, & Stephanie, and we had so much fun.  We got dressed up, headed to a quick lunch downtown, and then onto the show.  We all loved it...such a great show!!  Afterwards, we got to get some hot chocolate as well.  It was a fun girl's afternoon.
