We enjoyed a variety of Christmas activities throughout the month of December. Always such a fun time of year.
Meeting Santa at an event Uncle Thomas & Aunt Lindsey put together
Brady & Brecken also wanted to give Santa a hug.
Another fun activity that Daddy & Mommy get to participate in is volunteering at the Operation Christmas Child Warehouse. Each year, they go with their small group from church, sort through boxes and prepare them to ship out to many countries throughout the world. Such a fun night together.
Such a great small group!
Brady & Brecken were both involved in our school's elementary Christmas play, The King and Me. Brady was King Solomon, and Brecken was David. They did a great job, and we enjoyed watching them perform...focusing on Jesus being the reason we celebrate Christmas.
Oma also came to watch the boys perform.
They did great.
(Brecken had already changed out of his costume...they both looked great, too!)
Daddy & Mommy enjoyed their church Christmas party. Food, games, and laughter with some of the greatest people.
Small Group Fun
We also loved our class Christmas parties. Since all the parties started at the same time, Mommy had fun running from one party to the next. (Thankfully, the rooms aren't too far from each other!) I (Emmersyn) had preschool that day, so that helped Mommy have more time to enjoy the older kid's parties, too!
Brecken making a reindeer!
(It was pajama day at school)
Mrs. Rogers & her first grade class (Brecken)
Mrs. King & her fourth grade class (Brady)
Middle school participated in a gingerbread competition after their brunch. They got a variety of supplies, and as a team, they would each create their own gingerbread fun (house, castle, forest, etc.) Averie's group did a castle, and everyone loved it. So fun!
I really, really wanted to see the singing bears at Birkdale. We finally were able to go when they were singing, and I loved it!
This bear was reading a story...the other bears were singing. So fun!
Lots of Christmas activities in December, and we had a blast!
