After it rains, we love to splash in puddles.  We don't do it often, but we were happy when it rained for a few days...creating a good puddle or two around our house.  Brady was at a friend's house, but we grabbed our rain boots and enjoyed some good, splashing fun!!

Averie Grace ~ June 2014

1 month old

This sweet baby...our Emmersyn Faith...is 1 month old.  She is such a sweet baby...sleeping great at night, enjoying her bottles, and loving to be held.  She is a wonderful completion to our family, and we are all loving her so much.  Happy 1 month, Emmersyn!

Now that summer break is here, we are enjoying having days at home.  We also love having Emmersyn, holding her, and watching her grow.

last day of 2nd grade

Here I (Averie) am...on my last day of 2nd grade.  I enjoyed having Mrs. Popowitch be my teacher, and I had a great year.  I really love reading, and I am excited to read to Emmersyn like I do to Brecken!

gymnastics

 With the end of the school year also comes the end of the year programs for all activities!  I (Averie) have enjoyed taking gymnastics for the last 2 years.  I have moved up a level and have learned a lot.  I also love that I take this weekly class with my best friend (cousin), Stephanie.  We sure have fun together!!

piano recital

This is my (Averie) second year of taking piano lessons.  I sure have come a long way since Day 1, and I have really enjoyed Mrs. Gravely as my piano teacher.  For our recital this year, we got to play 3 pieces...a hymn, a classical, & a fun piece.  I really enjoyed piano this year, learned a lot, and am happy to be able to play songs that I know now.

I have enjoyed learning the piano...it's been another good year!

(On a side note, we had our recital at a local piano shop...this piano's price tag was $117.000!!!  yes, I played on a piano that was priced for $117,000...that's a whole lot more than the $250 one my parents bought me on Craig's List! :))

last day of class

This is me, Brecken, on my last day of 2 year old preschool.  I had such a great year.  I was hesitant at first (like I am with a lot of new people), but I loved my teachers & made new friends.  I loved story time, recess time, and the train table.  It was a great year, and I am happy to move up to the 3 year old class next year!!

Happy Summer, Everyone!

graduation day

On May 22, I (Brady) got to graduate from kindergarten.  Such a fun time for me!  I had such a great kindergarten year.  I learned a lot, laughed with friends, and loved my teacher.  I am thankful we get to attend a Christian school...where there were only 5 kids in my whole class.  Lots of one on one time with our teacher helped me be even more successful.  It was a fun year...FIRST GRADE...here I come!!

We said our pledges, sang songs, recited Bible verses & poems, had a slideshow presentation, and walked across the stage to get our diploma...

We hugged our teacher rather than shake her hand...Mrs. Fitzsimons was a wonderful kindergarten teacher for me!

An official FIRST grader!

I got decorate my table (at the reception following graduation) with a few of my favorite things.  I chose a picture of my siblings, my ninja turtle stuffed animal, my action figures, & a basketball...all my favorite things!

Such a great morning...Daddy & Mommy can't believe I am already ready for first grade.  But, first, summer break...here I come!!
