first date nights out

One of the activities that Daddy & Mommy do with us each summer is date night.  Each of us get to go out with just Mommy and then just Daddy and choose the activity of our choice.  It's something we look forward to every summer...like one of our top 3 things we love most about summer.  We start doing this once we are starting kindergarten. So, this year, it was my first time being able to do so.  I  was so very excited to go out on my dates.

With Mommy, I chose to get a pedicure & then go shopping & eat dinner at the mall.  I even asked to wear a princess crown on our "girl's night."  Mommy was ok with it, and I truly felt like a princess.  We had such a fun time together.  I think I will love these nights as much as my siblings do.

On my date night with Daddy, we went to Dave & Buster's to have dinner & play video games.  We had so much fun together!  I love these one on one times with Daddy & Mommy!  So fun!

Birthday's are fun times together with family.  They are also fun times to celebrate with good friends, too!  I was very excited to celebrate my birthday with a few of my friends, and we had a fun time together...swimming, nerf wars, watching a  movie, and staying up really late.

happy 11th birthday, brady!

Happy 11th Birthday to our Brady Joseph.  He's our athletic, busy boy who acts crazy, makes others laugh really hard, but also protects his Momma.  He's sweet & fun! He loves food, candy, sodas, and more food.  He's usually very happy and loves playing video games whenever we let him.  What a joy he is!  We are so thankful!  And, we sure enjoyed celebrating him...the night before his birthday with both sides of the family and then on his birthday with just us.  We sure love you, Brady!

Such a fun 2 days celebrating Brady!  He had a great birthday!

18 years

Daddy & Mommy celebrating 18 years of being married.  They sure love being married.  They laugh every day.  For their celebration, they decided to try a new activity...archery.  They had a great time together, even though Daddy was way better at it...he even got a bullseye!  After archery, they headed to dinner at Pacos Tacos...yummy!  We are thankful for our parents and their marriage.

vbx 2019

Another fun year for our VBX (Vacation Bible Xtreme)!  We love helping with VBX (Mommy & Averie), and Brady, Brecken & I being a part of it.  Such a fun week!

Our student pastor, Mr. Ben, helped the 5th graders, which was Brady's group.  At the end of the week, Brady was all smiles as he excitedly told Daddy & Mommy about how he had been called by God and was saved this week of VBX!  It was such a special moment, and Brady was forever changed.  He even told Mommy, "I am like that woman at the well in the Bible...she left the well truly never thirsty again because she met Jesus and He gave her living water like He did me." 💙

So, this will always be a very special week for Brady.  We sure love VBX!

family fun @ davidson

We sure enjoyed spending a family day together in Davidson on this Saturday in June.  We enjoyed going to the Davidson Market, eating some yummy food, visits with some friends, & ending the day sitting in a police car and chatting with a police officer.  It was such a fun time together!
