the last day of the first year of preschool

May was a busy month for our family.  Between birthdays, Mother's Day, field trips, and end of school year activities (just to name a few ;)), it was quite a busy time.  But, we made it to summer, and we are ready for summer fun.  This is my last day of my first year of preschool.  I had a great school year, and I loved making new friends.
Emmersyn Faith, officially finished with the 2 year old preschool class.

A great school year, but I am ready for summer!

the last day

Happy Last Day of School 2017!!!  It's the end of 5th grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten for us!!  To celebrate, Mommy took us, as a surprise, to get a donut before school.  We loved that!

Last day as a 5th grader!
Last day as a 3rd Grader!
Last day as a Kindergartener!
The school year seemed to fly by, but not without learning a lot & making lots of fun memories!

We had an awards chapel right after school started, so Mommy stayed for it.  Brady got "Honor Roll"...
...& I got "A Honor Roll" and "Perfect Attendance"...
...& Brecken got "Perfect Attendance" also.
(They don't honor roll awards until 3rd grade.)

kindergarten graduate

Kindergarten graduation...hard to believe Daddy & Mommy have another baby graduating from kindergarten.  Just seems like yesterday that I (Brecken) started preschool, and now, I am heading to the first grade.  It's been a great year, and I have loved school.  My teacher was fantastic, I made some  great friends, and I learned a lot.  I even came "out of my shell" this year...even my teacher commented on how I love to make others laugh & tell lots of stories!  What a great year.

We have 5 graduates in our class.  I am on the right.

At our celebration afterwards, each graduate had a decorated table.  Mine was Star Wars, shark books, legos, and a family picture.  I loved it!

I got to enjoy a nice blue ring pop before finishing up my pics, so the rest will have a nice blue tint in my smile...haha!

promotion to middle school

What?  Daddy & Mommy officially have a MIDDLE SCHOOLER!!  When did this happen...and so fast?!?  Yes, in May, I officially promoted from 5th grade into 6th grade...welcome to the middle school years!

Receiving my certificate from our Head of School, Dr. Johnston.
And a congratulatory hug from my teacher, Mr. Swaim.
(Mrs. King was also my teacher, but she was primarily my 4th grade teacher.  Both extraordinary teachers...I have been very blessed.)

JEBA

Brecken & I loved playing basketball this past season.  Daddy was able to find another short league for me (Brady) to play in called JEBA (Junior Eagles Basketball Association), and I had a lot of fun.

end of the year preschool field trip

Each year, the preschool takes an end of the year field trip.  This year, our field trip was to Lazy 5 Ranch.  I had never been before, so I was pretty excited about going and seeing all the animals.  I was in for a real treat.  We went on a wagon ride, feeding animals...then, we got to walk around and see other animals.  We ended our trip with a picnic lunch and some time on their playground.  It was fun being with my class and fun being with all the animals.

Feeding the water buffalo...at first, I thought that was so cool...
...then, I wasn't sure what to think about that tongue! :)
I also loved feeding some of the animals right out of my hand!

Visiting some camels...
...& a turkey!
It was a fun morning!!
