brady's friend birthday party

I was so excited to help plan my friend birthday party.  I decided to have a swim party at Oma's so that I could invite lots of friends...& swim all afternoon.  And, I picked a basketball theme since I love basketball so much!!  Then, I picked having chic-fil-a nuggets, watermelon, chips (my favorite being the blue Doritoes), popsicles, and cupcake cake as all my food. I would have also chosen sodas and candy, too, but Daddy & Mommy said that I already had too much sugar on my list :)  (Thankfully, I still got to enjoy one Coke that day as a special treat!)  We swam all afternoon...playing games, eating food, and having a blast with my friends.  Such a fun day!

I love jumping off Oma's diving board!

anniversary trip

Daddy & Mommy celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on June 30th this year.  We got to hang out at home with Nana & Aunt Blip while they enjoyed a few days away with dear friends.  They went to Rock Barn Spa & toured the Biltmore House.  Rock Barn Spa was filled with relaxation, laughter, massages, golf (for the guys), food, and games.  What a wonderful few days Daddy & Mommy had celebrating 14 years together...

So happy together!!

happy father's day

We love our Daddy.  He is our hero, and we are so thankful for him.  We look forward to when he gets home each day, and we love playing with him, wrestling with him, when he takes us out, and when he puts us to bed.  God blessed us with a wonderful Daddy, and we were happy to celebrate him on Father's Day!  After church, we celebrated Daddy with lunch at one of his favorites, Bucca de Beppo.  He loved all the yummy Italian food and time with us.  Afterwards, we headed home and gave him a few gifts...an autographed book that a college friend wrote, gift cards, & some golf shirts. He then enjoyed a movie with some other Dads from church...Jurassic World.  It was a fun day celebrating Daddy.  We are very thankful!

Daddy & Me

One of many kisses for my Daddy...

Daddy & Brady (his mini-me)
Silly faces
Daddy & Brecken
Daddy & Emmersyn
We sure love Daddy, and we are so thankful for him.  Happy Father's Day, Daddy!!

home

Emmersyn loves to "read."  She loves to sit in her chair (or on the floor...or in our laps...or wherever she can) and "read" her books.
Cutie Pie!
Brady reading her favorite book to her...Ten Little Ladybugs!
Daddy ready to her!
We love when we get to have movie night on Daddy & Mommy's bed.  Emmersyn isn't quite old enough to sit still on the bed, but not sure why she thought Hutch's bed would be a great spot to sit!  Haha!
Movie fun!
Brady was "teaching" Emmersyn how to play the piano...
...& they had fun together!
One day, Emmersyn wanted to start "reading" before she even got dressed...
...so cute!
We are so thankful for our home...it is usually filled with lots of laughter!!

gymnastics

I have been taking gymnastics for 2 years now, and I love it!  We practice once a week for 1 1/2 hours, and then we have one performance at the end of each "year."  This year, we got to show our parents what we have learned at each "station" (bars, beams, floor, etc.), and I had a fun time!  Here we are walking out.
Our floor routine was set to Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off" song, and we had fun!
My solo part...
...including my cartwheel!
On the beam...

...& then the bar, which is my favorite!
And, finally, the mats!
Receiving my trophy of completion!
Another great year of gymnastics...
...& with my best friend (& cousin), Stephanie!
Daddy & Mommy cheering me on.
(My siblings also attended as well!)
Emmersyn enjoying the show!
