let the summer fun begin...

We always enjoy our summer break. So many fun activities, family time, beach vacation, swimming, VBS, camps, and more.

We kicked off summer break with a few hours of bowling fun.

Oma joined the fun with us on this day!

Carowinds is another favorite...check us out...2 states at one time! 😉

Mommy got to enjoy a few girl's nights as well. One of them was to the AR Workshop in Davidson with Aunt Helen & Joy. They each built and painted a project...and then enjoyed dinner afterwards. She always enjoys her girl's nights with these ladies.

Mommy also took us putt-putting. We had a great time, even though it was pretty hot this day.

Summer Fun

June 2019

Mom let me do the rock climbing wall after putt putting, and I made it to the top. It was fun!

Emmersyn had never done it, so she wanted to try it.

She was pretty excited...

...& she actually did a great job, but she didn't make it to the top!

A yummy treat to cool us off...snow cones!

We 3 crazy kids also want to swim in the rain, so we did!

I wore Emmersyn's puddle splasher just in case...and flexed my muscles to make it more manly! 😂

Also, during the summer, one of our favorite things we do is a date night with Daddy and a date night with Mommy. We each get to pick an evening of fun with Daddy & then with Mommy. It's so much fun. When it was Brecken's turn, he chose to use some saved up birthday money and go to the Lego store at Concord Mills and then enjoy some time at Dave & Buster's playing games and eating dinner there. He & Mommy had a great time!

Our start to summer fun has already been so much fun!

the last day...

Today is our last day of school...& we are pretty excited about it! Hard to believe another year of school is finished, but we are ready for summer.

I am finishing 7th grade.

Emmersyn already finished preschool, but she joined the picture fun, too!

Brady is finishing 5th grade, and he loved his teacher, Mr. Swaim.

Brecken is finishing 2nd grade, and he enjoyed having Mrs. Rogers for his 2nd grade teacher (as well as his 1st grade teacher), too!

We all had a great year, and we love our school, but we are also thankful for summertime!

all in one day...presschool graduation & 5th grade promotion

So, this was a busy morning for our family. I was graduating preschool and Brady was promoting into middle school. Both had ceremonies for them, both were in the morning. So, Mommy drops the older 3 kids off at school at 7:55, get me ready and to preschool by 9, back to Brady's promotion ceremony at 10:30, and then my preschool graduation at 11:30. We finished the busy morning with a reception at my preschool and then a celebratory lunch at La Unica's. A great morning of celebration...

All dressed and ready for my graduation...& my very last day of preschool!
