28 weeks

 Here is our Mommy...28 weeks pregnant with our baby brother or sister.  We love hugging & kissing Mommy's belly all the time, and we are so excited to meet him/her in 11 weeks!

(Mommy has to have a C-section, and the doctors want to do that during the week of May 6-10.)

All looks good, and baby is measuring right on time!

Day 2 of playing in the snow...& loving it!!

 

When we woke up on this morning, it was still snowing outside.  After we ate breakfast and such, it was still snowing.  Daddy really wanted to play with us in the snow while it was still snowing, so we bundled up and headed out.  It was definitely not the powdery snow from the day before...it was good packing snow.  So, we had a snowball fight, went "sledding," and built a snowman...it was another fun filled few hours in the snow!

What a fun snow day!

let it snow ~ day 1

So, we had about 1-2 inches of snow a few weeks ago, so when the weathermen were predicting some snow again, we didn't get too excited.  As the days got closer, they changed their prediction to 4-6 inches.  We were getting excited then!!  Then, the night before the snow came, they changed their prediction one last time...9-11 inches for Huntersville!!!  We were super excited...all except for Daddy, who didn't think it would snow that much here in NC.  It snowed a few inches on Tuesday...stopped that evening...then snowed again Wednesday and Thursday morning...totaling up to about 11 inches for us!  We loved it!  It was beautiful...& Daddy & Mommy couldn't believe how much snow we got.  We got all bundled up and spent hours in the snow!  This was gorgeous!!

And, this was my (Brecken's) first snow experience.  On day 1 (Wednesday), the snow was mostly powder...so it was fun to play in, dig in, etc., but it was hard to build a snowman.  So, we just enjoyed playing in it.

...so, of course, I had to try it, too!  We had a blast!

We boys enjoyed the snow for another hour, and then we came inside and the girls had hot chocolate ready for us.  We had such a fun first day, and we are so happy for all the snow!

Daddy & Mommy said that after I potty trained (which I did over Christmas break...yay for big boy undies!!) & before the baby arrived, I could start sleeping in a big boy bed.  Since the baby will need my crib to sleep in, Daddy & Mommy thought I would have fun sharing a room with Brady.  So, they got us bunk beds, painted our room gray, & combined our toys.  We were super excited.  We love sharing a room together, and I am so happy to be in a big boy bed!!

 

This is my first night sleeping in my big boy bed.  I have Charlie (my monkey) with me, but Brady also let me sleep with his Raphael (ninja turtle) so I wouldn't be scared.  (So sweet!)

And...just a little while later...I'm asleep in my bed!  The transition was easy...& I love it!

birthday celebration with friends

On this day, I got to celebrate my 3rd birthday with my friends.  I wanted a construction party, so Mommy created a construction site at our home...hard hats for each construction worker....food served out of construction vehicles...an orange cone for everyone to drink out of...and a small construction vehicle for each of my friends to take home.  It was such a fun party...playing with my friends.  I am thankful for them...calling them each my "best friend."
