The elementary school kids get the opportunity to dress up as a character in a book that they love. But, we try to use costumes we already have...or use our current Halloween costume. Thankfully, we chose to be ninja's for Halloween this year...and we had books that had ninja's in them. So, off we went to school dressed as ninja's to go along with our books. Then, we get to walk the streets of Davidson in a book parade. We had a fun time.
Emmersyn also had her fall festival at preschool...decorating pumpkins, playing fall games, and decorating (& eating) a cookie. A fun morning...& a cute kid with some pumpkins!
