Emmersyn's birthday happened to fall on a very busy weekend...cousin Eric's college graduation, Mother's Day, and Oma's Birthday. And, on top of that, she was pretty sick for her birthday weekend, so we celebrated a few different times. Since Uncle Art & Aunt Kelly were going to be in Chapel Hill for Eric's graduation, they gave Emmersyn her gifts 2 days before her birthday. We were at Oma's house celebrating Oma's birthday, so Oma didn't mind "sharing" her celebration. :)
She really enjoyed opening all her gifts from Uncle Art & Aunt Kelly.
(We draw names on Mommy's side of the family, so only one uncle/aunt purchases gifts for the birthday kid.)
Uncle Art enjoyed helping her open gifts as well...it was cute to see!
Her Mickey lego was quite a hit...
...but, she also loved her dress up shoes...and that Uncle Art helped her put them on!
