This winter, Brecken & I (Brady) got to play in one of local basketball leagues, HYAA (Huntersville Youth Athletic Association). This is a different change of pace for me compared to Upward (this wasn't offered this season in our area), but it was a great learning experience for me. The rules are stricter and the games are more competitive, but I loved it & learned a lot. Our team even went to the championship round, undefeated, but we lost in second overtime. And, Brecken had a great first season of ball. He hustled hard and tried his best...& even scored several baskets during his games. A fun basketball season!
