In early May, we knew that Mamaw's health was declining. (Mamaw is Daddy's maternal grandmother.) So, we were able to take a last minute long weekend trip to go visit with her, Great Aunt Cookie, Great Aunt Deb, and our second cousins. We visited several times with Mamaw, telling stories, reminiscing about Daddy's childhood, laughing with her, & enjoying time with her. We are so thankful that we did...she passed away a few months later. We are also thankful that we got to spend the time with all of our family while we were visiting. We had a fun time.

One of the activities we did while in Ohio was an indoor trampoline park. We had a lot of fun jumping around, trying to obstacle course, and sharing lots of laughs.
One night, we met with other cousins at the clubhouse where Aunt Cookie & Mamaw live and hung out. We had a blast!

Another activity we did was watch some of our second cousins race their race cars. We all got a turn to sit in their race cars...& cheer them on to victory!
Emmersyn also enjoyed blowing on the dandelions.
On the last night we were there, Great Aunt Deb surprised Emmersyn with a birthday cake at the hotel swimming pool for all to enjoy. (Emmersyn's birthday was going to be 2 days after we got home.) So, we gathered in one of the conference rooms and sang to her and enjoyed some cake together. It was a really nice time visiting family, and we are so thankful that we made the trip to Ohio.
