the last day of school

Hard to believe another school year is completed.  I (Averie) finished my first year of middle school, Brady just completed 4th grade, and Brecken finished 1st grade.  We had a wonderful school year, but we are also super excited for summer!  As tradition for our last day of school, we headed out for donuts for breakfast before our half day of school.  Yummy!  Then, we had chapel, class parties, final cleaning out of our classrooms, hugs for our teachers and friends...and then, hello, sweet summertime! We are thankful for our school and for another successful school year!

Chocolate frosted glazed for me...
...Brady switched from a donut to a breakfast bagel with sausage and egg...
...& Brecken chose chocolate frosted glazed.
Our last year at this location, so we had to take a picture in front of our school sign.
(Our school is actually moving to our church for at least 2 years, so we are pretty excited to be much closer to home...and in a very familiar place for us!)
💗💙💚
Brady with his teacher, Mrs. King.
His class award was the "Franklin D. Roosevelt Award," for having a spiritual outlook and seeking the positive to any situation.
(Daddy & Mommy were so proud of this award for sure.)
Brecken with his teacher, Mrs. Rogers.
His class award was "Quick Thinker," for always thinking...of others, about Bible stories, and of the correct answers in situations.
I have multiple teachers and am totally ok with not having pictures taken with my teachers anymore...guess that's the new privilege of being in middle school now. 😉  But, it was a great year!

Officially a 7th grader
Officially a 5th grader
